I have found that clarity is more powerful than goals and planing . We can start by realizing that their is much more that we do not know and can not know than we are aware of! We can always learn to ask more intelligent questions that include who are we and why do I need to Do anything other than seeking more self honesty and seek to be open to what is true beyond all short term fads.

Rian, this is phenomenal content. What's the difference between GDAs and clear goals? I'm a bit confused on this.

Thanks, I basically tried a version of this today, locked myself out of Instagram, Facebook, and messenger. Threw my phone away during work and my focus is back where it should be. Now going to challenge myself to keep doing this for 30 days straight

I achieved the limits. Had a long extensive recovery. I can manage another sprint today. I’m not too hung up on methods because you can change it up and get the same results by just understanding that if you put in a lot one day you’re going to be in recovery mode the next so you can balance it out even more. There’s all sorts of ways and concepts. I’m fortunate enough that I can resonate with them all and can use whatever methods I feel motivating at the time.

I've watched a few of your videos now, and it seems like you're just replacing normal words with fancy terms. 'Life Maintenance Load' is just 'chores'. Becoming a 'temporal architect' is just having a schedule. 'Autotelic Activities' are simply things you enjoy doing, like hobbies. 'Restructuring your heat map of activities' is just timetabling your chores and hobbies. I like you and much of what you say, but the fancy language is an unnecessary barrier.

Is it possible that, caffeine doesn’t do much in certain individuals?? They might lack receptors of caffeine compared to caffeiene lovers. neither does it keep you awake nor does it. Neither crave it nor dislike it. I have seen people addicted to caffeine. I never had such a thing.

What type of task is best suited to a One-Month Day? creation, writing, research, follow up, execution, planning, ...? I ask because (for example) some tasks require surfing the web for exploration/research/inspiration and are less prone to flow. In other words, what types of tasks are most prone to flow?

I don't agree. Get not just 100mg but up to 300-400mg. It makes me very anxious but extremely focused at the same time so you can do 8h of work under 4 hours. And this won't have an effect on sleep if consumed first 6 hours of waking up.

The editing style of your videos is insulting for the kind of viewer it seems you're trying to attract, as if we can't hold attention on one scene/object for less than 3 seconds. Quit bouncing around so much in attempt to maximally stimulate us. This isn't Tik Tok, Rian.

"Create systems, not goals" cannot be overstated. Focus on the journey itself, and course-correct along the way. Let your goals be your ultimate vision, NOT a repetitive mind-wandering that distracts you from reaching it. I'm trying to follow this advice every day (and it's especially hard due to my ridiculous ADHD impulsivity nonsense - but "being hard" is no excuse - just try your best at all times and accept the results). For me, as a retail investor, it's "not _timing_ the market, but put _time in_ the market and adjust along the way." I'd rather emulate Warren Buffet than Jordan Belford.
